Who gets it?

So... who's been paying attention in class (and in current events) and can tell us what's going on in this 'photo mashup'?

Film scans from the Central Park field trip

Hey - so as long as you're all getting all excited about TEEN photographers, I thought I'd post some work from few of my favorite teenage photographers... YOU GUYS!

This were quick n' dirty scans (our class just let out an hour and a half ago and I went straight down to the digital lab to scan these) so they're not perfect, but at least we can SEE them.

Also, I shot a roll that day as well and I thought I'd post a few of my favs from that roll...

And, last but NOT least, a group shot.  Kyle is too cool to acknowledge the camera.

MBG

Mike Bailey-Gates is like the superstar of online teen photographers, at least in my eyes he is. Constantly, Mike's photos shock and inspire me while making me hate him for his talent. In my defense, though, he has a lot of talent, it's hard not to get jealous. He just released a shoot shot in black and white film that reminded me of our fourth assignment. His flickr and his website.

Joe Curtin

This is one of my favorite photographers, Joe Curtin. His work is pretty similar to Olivia
Bee's, as they both attempt to capture the elements of teenage life. He's sixteen as well. He works mostly in film, and does some pretty cool shots with double exposures and destroying film.
heres his blog: http://joecurtin.blogspot.com/
